Hey VALKYIE

Do you know that guy/users name is or the thread/topic name, searched under Turbo F3 and Turbo 600 F3? Lots of topics returned but I din't see a 600 F3 turbo thread all F4i's and stuff?
Maybe you'll know or someone else will, and where in the world do you buy the forged stuff for the motor from? and what will/can the cases hold on the motor?

Stan

Thanx for the pics they give me an idea of the processes needed for designing

Yes I remember the guys name. His name is cbrfeaver. I think in the future I will do this mod as a project. I am so busy now preparing my production run of my custom fairings plus all my other responsibilities I really don't have time to just work on my bike and drink a cold one. Thats life I suppose. Good luck with this mod if you decide to do it and keep some good notes.

You don't have to change the frame if you put a 96 900rr motor in an F3 frame. It will bolt right it...that is my current project. You'll have to use pretty much all the electronics from the 96 900rr as well, but you can get get away with using the F3CDI onit and gain an extra 1000RPMs. And btw, I have beaten every 600 I have raced (08 r6, 07 600rr, 07 gsxr 600, 06 zx6), and besides the fact that my stunt bike has a jet kit, k&n, and Yosh,it's stock. So don't buy a new 600rr just to get more power, its how you ride the bike, plus,if you put a 900rr motor in, you'll have more torque.

So a 96 900rr engine goes right in. Any problems with the engine valve casing hitting the engine or resizing the airbox? Did you have to do any cutting and moving around of the rear engine mounts and notch the frame for extra clearance?

I haven't gotten that far. But from everyone I've talked to, and from looking at older posts on cbrworld it's a direct bolt in. I'm not sure on what is gonna happen with the air box though. After I get everything in I'll consider the whole F3 set up, or maybe F2 if the 1000rr triples will be in the way.

Well take good notes. I am thinking of adding a turbo set at low boost so the power can be controlled or going to a bigger engine.

airbox won't fit with the 900rr motor. Goign to need to get individual ones for each.
