F3 swap
I know there has been tons of post on this subject, but everyone says that doing a 97-98 f3 fairing swap on a f2 is a direct bolt on,but i'm having a couple small issues, the right side access door goes on perfect, but the left side doesn't even come close to mounting up,it hits the frame bar and my tail sections don't go into the factory grommets, they farthest rear tabs are about2 inchs to high to go in the grommet hole...i was wondering if anyone else had had this issue
Yea I need sum advice on this as well. I got an f2 i'm rebuilding/painting
it's stripped down to the frame and primed i'm in debate about
f2 fairings if i can bolt on f3 fairings with lil effort and just change out the headlight I'll do it
in a pinch i feel the f2 is a good bike but cosmetically i feel it lacking sumthing.. i just can't place it kinda bulky

the nose and side fairings went on with no problems, but i'm having a few issues with the tail and access door..i have'nt really messed with it alot though...it will deft be figured out b4 spring
cool keep me posted ill surf ebay abit more thinkin of gettin my fairings mid january...
just curious you didn't order the ones from hong kong on ebay did u?
iv heard they have issues such as fitment and the lowers melting? my f2 had an upper that
"with alil patience and a dremal tool " i was able to mount it was from hong kong not worth it
in my opinion ...

messenjah: No they're OEM fairings,i had originaly bought the fairings from Hong Kong and when i received them i put them right back on EBAY,they are horrible quality.I felt like if i grabbed them to hard they might crack,lol...
VALKYIE: No,my frame is straight as can be...and from my research i am the only one that has had this problem...I haven't messed with it a whole lot because it's in the 20's here. But i gave it a decent effort awhile back with no success, didn't want to try to force anything because the paint is new
