Clean!! I think I might do this to my F2 stuntbike... Whos the guy sellin the modded Fx/R6 upper??

your F3 looks friggin sweet!! I love F3s! I have owned 3 F3s, but never this nice.

haha thanks. It looks even better now. I got some sportier side mirrors and put on some oem decals.

I'm in the process of collecting f4i front fairing pieces for this conversion.. a writeup for this would be aaaawesome!

ya it would huh, maybe you could just do a little searching an you would find the one i already did.


and i never thought i would say it but the F4i Fairings look real good with the stock tail

Hey demented, I was also suprised how well the 97-98 tail went with the f4i fairings. to me it just looks more complete compared to all the new tails nowadays showing too much subframe. I do need to get one of those targa seat cowls though to rid myself of that banana seat haha.

but my next project is going to be swapping a 600rr tail on like you did. thats not going to be a while though im content with my bike right now =]

No, I've checked out both of your threads on it extensively but I was kind of hoping for something a little more detailed with pics of the whole process and yours seemed more like an after-thought kind of thing.

Don't get me wrong, your bike was the inspiration that made me want to do this with my bike and you gave a lot of good info... I just thought I'd prod a little in case it motivated someone who might be thinking of making this swap.

Keep in mind, I don't have much experience with fabrication so extra detail in the process is huge for eliminating headaches and costly mistakes. I'd hate to drop several hundred into fairings only to butcher it with a simple mistake that could have been avoided with a bit more instruction. I guess at some point you have to take the leap though..
