has anyone else tried this?
i'm knee deep in it now and hit a wall... don't have the tools to get the right side swingarm bearing out of the damn thing
putting this swingarm off an 05, with 07 suspension (single dogbone suspension linkage bolts up in the same spot

which is going here-

Did you try to freeze it then heat it up to loosen the bearing? Or try tapping it out from the other side with a long extention. If not you might have to take it to a machine shop to have the bearing removed.

I agree with Val ^. Take it to a shop and have them press it out. I would like to see a write-up if you can finish this. Im pretty sure(just looking at the swingarms on newer bike)you would have to fab a lower shock mount on the f3 frame! Not for sure though.

alrighty... a very long time later i'm back... i was just in too much of a hurry and was trying to get the bearing out the WRONG WAY
... so once i figured that out i also figured out the stock F3 swingarm pivot was WAY too small... and i discovered a nice lil trick, the F3 FRONT AXLE is the same size as the 600rr swingarm pivot
... so i may have made the hole a lil bigger to fit the bolt in... but finding bearings was STILL an issue... the part of the swingarm i narrowed needed a smaller bearing obviously, and the bearing company said i was screwed... also the shock mounts are difficult to make without a welder.......
then i ended up trading my non running f3 (carbs still not on) for an 88 FZR1k (damn rocketship) and rode that around for a few months then sold it to a fellow Wyotech student in FL and Moved back home to the Colorado Mountains, where i am an ATV/ Snowmobile mechanic
