I'm planning on swapping out to a 600RR tail on my F3.
Would it be better to use the 03-04 style, or the 05-06 style with the seperate front pieces?
I know the swap's been covered before, but I was unsure of which tail works better.

neither one works all that well without some good fab work or cutting off your subframe fabbing mounts and using the 600rr subframe. And to be quite honest the 600rr tail looks like crap on the F3 with the stock body work.

yeah, don't do it, it doesn't look right. The RR tail looks funny without the undertail exhaust. If you want the tail to look better just do the 97-98 F3 tail conversion.

 

do the f4i tail swap do a search for the tail the end looks much better the rr tail and no exposed frame

 

if youre going for something easy to do, and dont let other ride bitch...another topic all together....

get a gp tail....you can find one for around 200-300 and the amount of pressure they take off your arms is AMAZING.

sounds weird huh? think about how much your wrist is used to hold on at high speed?

not anymore.....the super tall back holds you in place like super glue!
