Default 04 600rr Frame Sliders

Does anyone know if you have to cut the fairings to install frame sliders on a 04 600rr? Or is there a company that makes ones where you don't?

there are ones that you dont need to cut the fairings, but most reviews I have had on them sucked. People say they just break off when you drop your bike and dont do any good. You still end up with a scratched fairing. My advice would be to get the good ones that mount right to the upper engine mount and cut the fairing (the right way).

I agree that it is best to cut the fairing and mount the frame sliders. My friend got his sliders put on his 600RR just before the end of last summer and they did cut the fairings to mount the frame sliders. I need a set of sliders for my F3 any suggestions?

f3 sliders -- basically they are all the same, some people like plastic over the metal but also depends on looks
