Default Slip-On w/Competition Werkes FE

finally got my slip-on this afternoon (FMF Titanium). installed it this evening without any problems... until i re-installed my Comp Werkes fender eliminator kit. it hits the pipe now! so i called it quits for the night since i have to get up at 6am for work tomorrow. i'll have to cut/modify the FE kit so it clears. i hate to do it though because Comp Werkes ain't cheap. anyone else out there have any problems with the Comp Werkes FE kit fitting after installing a slip-on? if so, what did you do?

No.

Mine clears everything. Take some pics before you change it, if you can.

damn. yeah i'll take some pics. the FMF actually mounts slightly "crooked" under the seat but the tip is curved so that it's pointing straight back. confusing? it was to me at first because i've never seen one like this before. i didn't know it when i bought it but actually think it looks good once mounted. plus, i really can't complain... got this brand new for $150! some kid bought it and never mounted it and recently sold his bike so i offered to buy it from him

will post pics tonight... stay tuned...

got some pics during and after the install. i still don't know how to make the pics show w/o clicking on the link so if anyone can fix that for me that would be appreciated

in the pic(s) you can see where the CW kit hits the exhaust. i had to cut a small piece away to make it fit...

Sorry but I don't really see an issue.

2nd pic shows where the FE hits the aftermarket can. that was the issue. sorry if that wasn't clear.

does it push the cw down at all? if it's not too much i don't see how some careful bending around the muffler wouldn't fix it right up. plus have that extra-special custom look (see photoshopped image).

actually tried that but if you notice in the pic on the right side the FE wasn't even all the way on and it already hit the can pretty bad so bending wouldn't work [:@] trust me, i didn't want to cut if i didn't absolutely have to. thanks for the suggestion though

I was going to say cut it too. I don't see any other options from your pics. My kit is no where near the pipe.
