Default Rims

Sorry if this is a repost. I did a search but I didn't find anything. I am thinking about saving for carbon fiber rims. Anyone have any pro's or negatives?

IF they do make some...

A pro would be a very light wheel = more power
A con i think would be the inability of cf to bend, so it would probably shatter when impacted too hard = a very bad thing for a bike

Yeah, another con is when some clown at the dealer installs new tires and the machine busts off the lip of the rim. There are so many better aftermarket aluminums ones.

I have a friend that put them on his turbo Busa, he races it in the AMA ProStar and I asked him the question of how strong they are he said he has never had a single problem with them , he was worried about cracks and such and still no problems.
