Default LED's from Oznium.com

Hi, I wasnt sure where to post this so I just posted it here. Recently, I bought some LED strips for my bike. I was successful in installing them. But, the thing was that it wasnt bright enough. During night, you could barely even tell that there was underglow on my bike. After all of that, I just decided to rip it all apart and start over. Now, my friend who owns a Scion Tc, just installed blue underglow STRIPS. He got his LEDs from Oznium.com. Has anyone heard of this site? I just bought 50SINGLE LEDs from this site (only $23+ tax/shipping).They are under "Super Bright LEDs". I was wondering if anyone knows how bright the SINGLE ones actually are. I plan on making my own LED strips with Onarom's Originals - https://cbrforum.com/m_569218/mpage_.../tm.htm#569218

Make sure you put some type for sealant on the bottoms of the LED to the wire so moisture doesnt get in, and on the end. otherwise = corrosion

Yeah, I'm going to buy some silicone sealant from autozone. For mounting, I might buy some double-sided, heavy duty tape.

On the strips from Oznium, do they use the same bulbs as when you buy them single? I ask this because I am planning to make my own LED strips using the single bulbs.

well not typically....

the LEDs in the strips are surface mount LEDs....i am pretty sure that the singles are not SM....but rather a typical LED....that being said, some of the individual LEDs ARE surface mount because you can combine multiple SM LEDs to make a super bright SINGLE LED...you following this??

the nice thing about their strips is that they are fully encapsulated, the wiring is there, they can be cut....they are VERY VERY flexible so that they bend around corners....although i am sure you could fabricate a strip yourself, i HIGHLY doubt it will have the same polish as theirs and nor do i think it will be as flexible or durable....

i am not trying to slam your work, but i have used two different types of strips and seen others....the oznium ones truly impressed me and they are super easy to use....that's just me though....

If you know how to solder you can beat eBay. http://stores.ebay.com/hktaiyuen-LED-store_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZQ2d33QQftidZ2QQtZkm All different varieties of LEDs.
