Default integrated led tail light

i'm trying to install an integrated tail light on my '99 cbr f4 - the bike has two harnesses and the led light only has one... how should i connect the wires??? I got it working so that the signal lights worked, but the running light won't work?

Please help!

Unfortunately I don't have a model number or anything b/c I bought it off of eBay - it's just a clear rear tail light that has the tail lights integrated into it...

yep it has one harness, but my bike has two?? that's where i'm having problems - if i only hook up one of them, the brake light will work and so will the turn signals, but the running light won't work... not exactly safe at night LOL

i spliced one harness and joined it to the other harness, but still no running light?
each harness on the bike has:
black w/ white stripe
green w/ yellow stripe
green

so i spliced one and joined them together matching black with black and green/yellow with green/yellow etc...

hahahaha.....! Oooohhhhhh darlin.... i do believe you've made one heck of a mess! ok, lemme see if i can figure this out...

Your brake light, should have a 12v constant and a 12v interrupt wire, plus, one ground wire. the 12v constant is your running light, the 12v interrupt is your brake light. each signal should have a 12v interrupt and a ground. since i have no idea how the integrated signal harness you've got is wired, i'ma gonna just have to presume there is only one ground wire for the whole apparatus, one 12v for each function (signal left, signal right, and brake), 5 wires total that you gotta splice.

am i hittin' zero or do i have to adjust for windage?

maybe you gotta picture of the harness or somethin' i could study?

LOL I think you have to adjust for windage!!!

OK, let's try this again...

I have 4 harnesses coming from the bike (one per signal light and then the other two went to the old tail light). The new LED light has a hole where you can only plug one harness into it (whereas the old one had two holes for the two harnesses). The LED light also has a yellow wire and a blue wire for the signals - the yellow one and the blue one plug into the two seperate harnesses (on the bike) for the signals which work fine. So I'm not worried about the signals - just the tail light (running light).

Does any of this make sense???
