Installed my HIDs last night...
6K HIDs installed. Now my bike and car match

Thank everyone! Yeah the RC-1 is red, just my old camera.
It was really basic, everything was plug and play and there is great write-up on 600rr.net

Are the lights noticeably brighter during the night? I always use high beams when driving at night but I'm interested in installing the HID's to give me more visible distance ahead of me.

^^ Yeah, much brighter. I was riding a friend of mine and he said it was blinding (I alwayse ride with my high beam on, unless I'm following a car for a while at night I' switch it off for them). Just remember the higher up the scale you go, the less distance you get but the more blue you get (4-8K). The 6K's are perfect in terms of visibility and looks, and compared to stock it's night and day.
