Default Installed aftermarket hid kit, high beam won't stay lit.

Hey, I recently upgraded my headlight on my 93 cbr 600 f2. I got a kit that uses the high beam for the hid light. Both lights work fine while idling, but when I apply throttle, the hid light goes out. It seems that the hid light isn't getting the right voltage when under load. Can anyone help?

Well, no experience myself, but I HAVE read from other car forums that cheap sets can do that and sizzle some when new, it could/should go away when you get it to stay lit for some time. Pics, please! i'm curious to see how it's carried out in an F2 since there is only one bulb, and from your text i got the picture that only hi is HID.

You need to install a relay since you have bi-xenon.

I have a single Low hid kit, with no problems. (55w 8k)

I bought a relay but I dont need it for the single low conversion.

I can sell you the brand new relay I have, never used, for cheap.

Private message me if you are interested, and good luck with the kit!

Strange thing happened today.. Flicked hi beam on while riding revved engine, light went out. Repeated process, rode for 60 miles no problems light stayed lit! Maybe the light has to warm up fully before it will stay lit??

A relay should take care of that problem. I know some people turn their hi and low beams back and forth several times to jump start the ballast. Something to do with the bike not having enough power to start the ballast. Which is why it came on when you went from lows to hi then back to lows then hi again..Try doing that if it wont come on, if it keeps giving you problems just install a relay and you should be good to go!!!

Dude dont you understand?? your kit is not working correctly!!

For real buy my relay harness!!!

I am by no means trying to make money off you, I am going to sell it less than what I paid for... (aka hooking you up)

I have dealt with many people on here before in an ethical manner!!

What kit do you have that you have a Halogen Lo beam and an HID Hi beam?
I have seen the Halogen Hi-beam and HID lo-beam before but never the other way around?
