i know Im cheap
I know that certain polycarbonate sunglasses are dyed at the optomotrist...maybe it isn't too crazy to look into that, do a tied dye or something equally dopey. I have seen 'spray on 'tint one time in JC whitney...that may be another thing to look into.
You could peel off the sticker, and use auto tint for the stock shield. the curve isn't that bad. No heat gun needed.
It will probably look like *** real fast. Remember that the back of your screen is still exposed to the elements UNLIKE the inside of a car window.
If you don't look through it in a tuck, just paint it black. If you do look through it then get a can of VHT Nightshades. It's used to tint taillights. If you prep it well it may look OK on your screen.
IMHO instead of doing some jackleg mod that could make your bike look like crap, I would just save some ducats and ger a proper windscreen.
