Honda CBR 600rr Help
hey,im new to this forum and am new to riding road bikes,i just got my Learner liscence and am Australia im just wondering if annyone can tell me prefferably aussie if u can buy a honda cbr600rr and then restrict it to make it learner legal,if so plz tell me the right way to go about it. i have the money to buy a 07-08 model and honda is takin forever to get back to me. thanks
Alot of us won't be any good at telling you how to do things like that, since here in the States we don't have similar laws. However, with all the looking and things that I've seen, I do not think it's possible to "limit" the 07-08 CBR 600 to be legal for "learners".
Maybe get you a little bike to play with and learn on, then step up later when you're legal and legit? I personally think it will help develop your riding skills much quicker and to a better degree doing it that way.

Well said. To be honest, the RR is not a bike to learn on, its purpose track build. Restricting it wouldnt make much sense. Your best bet is to get a 250, learn, and then step it up. On a side note though im really glad we dont have those laws in the states, although it would keep many more people alive if we did.
^^^^ +1 ..... Im Not sure either. I know over the pond they limit you to 250 I believe. You should be able to do a search for it or call a DMV type place.
