Question Headlights Stink - How To Improve 2015 600RR

Howdy! First post and long time lurker. Thanks for having me. I am a proud owner of a 2015 CBR600RR and basically only have one bitch about the bike. THE FREAKING HEADLAMP!

So I can't be the only one who thinks the headlamp on the bike is lackluster at best. Has anyone successfully ran low-beam and hi-beam simultaneously? HID conversion? Can the stator take it? Has anyone come up with a solution to combat this?

Any and all advice or directions is appreciated and will be looked into.

Easiest solution: don’t ride at night.

subscribing. My '17 is in the same boat. Adequate, but not great.

My last bike used H11 bulbs in North America, but used H9 bulbs in much of the rest of the world. Therefore the wiring and rest of the system was capable of handling the larger draw of the 65w bulbs.

I fitted Hella H9 bulbs in, by simply clipping off one small tab on the bulbs.

Lighting was amazing! no problems with traffic as they were aimed correctly, and they are incandescent bulbs in housings designed for that. No problems with fitment, and heat sinks, and aftermarket boxes etc, as they fit like factory bulbs.

I'd love to find something like this for my bike.
