Default Has anyone done this?

I have an 04 600rr and I have a Yosh RS-5 (carbon) slip on...I was thinking about taking the baffling out to make it louder.....Has anyone done this yet? If so will it make it sound good or like complete ***?

I think some of the Yoshi's have a removable baffle for just that reason.

does this model have the riviets? If so you gently drill them out, and put new rivets in when done. If not just take the screw out and remove it. Or you could make the pipe a shorty.

it does have rivets around the cone piece at the end but it also looks like it has a screw or something in the inner middle when you look into the muffler...hmmmm i dunno !

Dude, I wouldn't take it all out. It'll probably sound and run like a tird. Just take out some of the packing if you want it a little louder. I did that to my M4 and it sounds sweet now. It's almost a little too loud actually.

Yes it is. It's packed in there very tight. Just take it all out and repack it not so tight.

You'll need a rivet gun, which can be bought at pretty much any hardeware, parts or similar store. You can find rivets in the same place also. You'll want to just use the ones that fit the snuggest in the holes and are made of stainless steel or aluminum.
