will a cbr1000rr tail fairing fit on a 2008 cbr600rr

I think it would blow off doing 177, but no it wont fit. Why would you do that?

I like the vents on the 1000 tail section too. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought some years of the 600rr came with the tail section vents.

For your purpose, they do, however they are solid and black, unlike the mesh on the 1000s. But you can take off the tail, unscrew the black vent, place mesh around the black, and then screw it back on and it will look mesh like.

Because it will make his bike go around 182-183 with a 1000RR tail on it, DUH

Go do a bunch of track days and you won't care what the vents look like anymore.

the 1000 RR tail is significantly wider than the 600RR...
It won't fit with out some fabrication/modification.
You'll also need to modify the seats to fit.

IMHO the 05-06 600RR tail looked waaay better than the literbike one.

the 1000RR one looked too "fat" the 600 one also had vents that looked more elegant.
