Default Fender Eliminator

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum and would very much appreciate your help and comments.

FYI:
I've recently bought a new CBR600RR 2011 X-ray and i've fitted it with a Yoshimura RS-5 exhaust.

Question:
I'm looking at buying a fender eliminator to go with the new exhaust but i'm having trouble picking one out. I've been looking around and most of the fender eliminator (pic shows) fits to the stock exhaust, would there be problems with the fitting as the Yoshimura exhaust is smaller?

P.S. It has to be street legal too as live in Australia

Thank you
Shawn

Nope it shouldnt be a problem. A lot of people use the tst fender eliminator and seem to like that. Its a pretty clean look but i dont know what the australia laws are as far as legality is concerned. DO you have laws about the distance between blinkers or from the center line of the bike or something? Are integrated lights allowed?

Thanks for your reply nickp123,

Australia does have law against integrated lights and the blinkers has to be 30 cms apart from each other, if i'm not wrong.

Thanks for you suggestions, i'll have a look at the tst fender eliminator

Cheers,
Shawn

yup sure. Just take a look at most fender eliminators and you should be able to tell if theyll be legal or not as far as the separation is concerned. Most should fit any exhaust. Check out rdubs, something like this would be perfect for you im assuming?

Re; Your tail tidy Q-, i'm in QLD & both my bikes are fitted out with F/E's & I have got pulled for speeding with both, day & night, I've never had a drama, they work day & night, & so long as one can read the licence plate from behind, & it is lit up at night, & the rear indicators are at least 300mm center to center, how can you get booked in QLD for a after market tail tidy? & the answer is you wont. I know there are so many stupid laws out there that could stop the traffic? but common sense checks that bull sh#t "with luck"! So go & give your bike a better look, with the best suiting tail tidy for that model. C.W
