is it possible to swap out the f4 upper fairing for a lets say 00-01 f4i upper? how hard would it be to do it or would it just bolt up? any help would be greatful.

Sharkskinz.com best bet unless you just want the style change... its possible the part #'s dont match up youd probly have to drill the holes yourself to where itll fit... only thing ive done to my 99f4 is upgrade the tail to an 03 fi tail everthing from the subframe up had to move a few things other than that it bolt it jus fine.

 

You need the upper stay and fairing from the 2001+ and the speedometer needs to have a bracket fabbed up to mount up. Its been done before, try a search
