Just bought an 03 CBR 600 RR. The bike has a Yosh slip on (The cheaper stainless one) The guy I bought the bike from decided to cut the can down to around 8 inches long. I've gotta say the bike sounds pretty nice, but looks like ***. Also the shortened exhaust is melting the tailight. Question is, can I get just the muffler?

Yosh sells replacement sleeves. You just have to drill through the rivets and put in the replacement rivets that they provide with the sleeve.

 

You cant just buy the canister through yosh, but you might be able to find one on e-bay, but for the price your going to pay on there sometimes you might as well just get a new exhaust all together. A replacement yosh RS-5 should be around the 300.00 to 475.00 depending on what type you choose to go with, but there are a lot of other systems out there that you should consider going with.
