Default Anything I should know before.....

I just ordered a Two Brothers M2 V.A.L.E Slip on Exhaust for my 06 CBR 600rr. I'm not a mechanical genus by any means but I think this is something that I can install myself. I thought it might be a good idea to get some tips from those of you who have done this yourself. I figure its going to be pretty intensive, but again I am up for the challenge. Unless you say its just easier to take it to the local shop and have them do it.. I figure if I do it myself, thats $150 I can spend elsewhere.

Thanks in advance for all of your input

It's pretty straightforward if you just follow the instructions they give you.

You will also want to get some earplugs or plan on turning up your MP3 player. I put my 2 Bros M2 CF on my 05 RR last January - it can get loud. Matter of fact I rode my wife's stock 05 RR last night and it was so quiet I couldn't believe it.

I can't wait to get it.. I've had my bike for a while now and i can't believe how quiet it is.. I can't wait to get it and put it on.. I was trying to do some research on the exhaust.. I see that most everyone who has a two brothers exhaust has the M2, does anyone know what the difference between that one and the M5 is??

The difference is can size - the sound is the same. M2 is a good choice for the 600RR.

I really hadn't heard one in person, but everything I could read said they were pretty good. I had the chance to hear one this weekend and it was great. It was louder that my buddy's yoshimura and deeper also, once I heard it I really knew it was the one I wanted

How did the install go? I ordered mine yesterday. Just an FYI Cycle Gear in Daytona Beach has Two Bros exhaust 25% off! That's a huge savings compared to anywhere else I've seen them.
