Default 954 or 600rr front end swap f4i

I want to swap my front end to and inverted front end off of a 954 or 600 rr front end on my f4i. From what i've rear so far it will hit the ram air duck and the ignition switch will hit the top of the frame and the turning radious is shortend due to the clip on hitting bc f4i's are top moutning and the other 2 are not. My forks are shot so before i rebuild them i want to know if anyone has had any luck with this mod and if it works well. Pics would be great
thanks

stuntlife.com has this documented on several occasions.

The turning radius is shortened due to hitting the ram air covers, yes. But I am actually planning on doing this mod here in about 2 weeks to my bike. I'll be sure to do a full write up on what I think. I'm doing it for the handling benefits of the inverted forks and stopping capabilities of those huge 929 rotors.

oh, and the 600rr front end wont fit w/o some custom work but a 954/929 front end bolts right up.

thanks i look forward to seeing the finished project. I also want it for the handeling and braking. I'm also doing the 600rr rear swing arm conversion.

Default 2006 RR front on a 2000 F4

Hey I just put a 2005 CBR 600RR front end on my 2000 Cbr 600 f4. It looks good, but I did have to trim the stops a little to get the turn radius correct. It looks like the clip ons are a little lower but I will let you know when I get the bike put back togather completely and take it for a spin.
