Default 06 600rr exhaust swap

hey whats up everybody. Im new to the forums & I was seeing if anyone could help me out. I have a 06 600rr and Im trying to change my stock exhaust to a aftermarket one. However for the past couple of days Ive been struggling to take my stock exhaust off. Ive taken every possible bolt & clamp that could hold it in place. I cant jiggle it loose. So my next thinking is should I take off the subframe just to take the exhaust off. Does anyone have any pointers for me?

No dont take of the sub frame!! You will need to remove the rear cowl. Are you removing the the entire exhaust or just the muffler/down pipe? There are two mounting points under the sub frame, one for the muffler and one on the down pipe, the bolt is near the right passenger rear set. There is a mount bolt where the down pipe meets the header, it is under the bike. Then eight bolts mounting the header to the enigine. There is also the clamp where the down pipe meets the header.

Trying to pry the down pipe off the header? Just give it hell, with out messing anything up of course. Mine was a pain but with some prying it came off.
