Hey guys im new to this and I have an 01 cbr 600 F4i, i bought it with an after market undertail with the 2 small round lights and i hate the look so i was thinking of changing the entire tail....

I want the 1000rr tail on it, or maybe something like 06 600F3 tail... i want the vents on the tail, thats the look im going for...

I do body work my self and i know there is no getting around it, i dont mind the molding and doing body work, i know ima have to cut and do all that...ect.....

if you guys have any ideas, pics, or know of any rear that would fit pleeeeeeeeeeeeease let me know

 

Oh it can be done. Are you planning of having the exhaust come out the back? If you do, you need to buy the sub frame of an RR and replace it with the RR. Then put it on your bike.

 

yea i know it can be done, and idk i didnt think about the exhaust... it would be a nice touch tho, but im ok where its at now... im cosidering maybe welding something on like the newer cbr 08 09 mode cuz its short and the way it looks

 

ive done some research, and i went on and took step one... i bought the rear tail and a after market tail light (brake/turn signal)
the undertail would have to be fabricated but thats last... they should be coming in this week

Dagnabit u ruined my surprise for this week i got a entire 1krr tail (subframe, bat. tray/undertail, pass pegs, pass seat, driver seat, tail light, tail fairing, the whole 9 yards) for my f4i headed my way should be here this week
