Well personally im inclined to go with Yoshimura RS-5...

Once you go Jap you never go back!! lol

I'll be getting my full Yoshi exhaust in 2 weeks....soooooooo long......all on backorder due to everyone wanting one...they are very popular with the rev heads here in Oz.

Yeah...I've heard the M4 and it does have a nice sound to them. Not bad an additional 4-6 horsies too.. I've noticed there areNO majority votes for any one special kind...or is there??? It really , I guess, depends on what ur preference is....?..

Akrapovics are excellent exhausts - how many Aratas are on race bikes?

Arrow also makes a quality pipe.

(It's amazing how much propaganda a certain distributor has put out there.)

ORIGINAL: Silver Wing 06

i have a m4 slip-on sound is amazing. fit and finish are good. i have the stainless with carbon tip. not to loud but deep an throaty. for the price it pick up ok power. 4-6 hp with no power commander from there web site. and i got mine shipped for 400 bucks.
not gaining anything on a slip on without a custom map, and even so it's not so much the slip on.. as the tune and correcting your A/F ratio, those HP ratings are just to get sales

Call it propaganda all you like ,I never said Akra was a bad pipe did i???
But i will in fact say the Dyno dont lie ...And its funny the guys that talk smack about Arata dont have one..And are not the willing to drop 800 for a slip on..
or 2k for a system..

Or there pissed off they cant get the deals on them like they used to becuse a certain company became the sole importer for Sato ,and now Tucker rocky cant get there hands on any Aratas..So that cuts out a good bunch of people..So what is the easy thing to do? Talk smack about it....If your gonna talk know what the REAL deal is...

I've had a a Hot Bodies undertail on my '06 for 20,000+ miles now. I didn't notice any heat difference between the stock one and the Hot Bodies. I've had 500+ mile days and haven't had any heat problems. The sound is nice (at least until all the packing blows out after many, many miles) and you can't beat the price for what you get (slip-on, clean undertail, and smooth-looking turn signals). When I installed mine, I took my time and heat-wrapped the supplied mid-pipe and muffler can and ensured there were no clearance issues and I haven't had the first problem from it yet. I just have to repack itnow **sarcastically** HOOORAY!!

Yeah ur right..custom mapping it would be the thing to do but I wouldnt prefer to do it on a slip-on, but only with full system. For savings..slip-on works and if one is in need or cares about additonal HP....

I've notice race bikes more with shorty Arrow pipes...

Sounds pretty good too..

Anybody have any sound bite clips of their pipes ???? Through You Tube..please attach....

I'm still debating what new pipe to get my 2008 CBR 1K...still researching...options...
