Default swing arm

ok after seeing the new 07 1krr i am on a mission. i luv that blk swing arm. anyone know whwere i can get the swing arm on my 05 1krr power coated blk and a ruff prince fpr this task. i am in newport news va. starting to lean to a new 07 because of this and the fact that both lights come on when at low beam on the 07.

Get yours done, you love it... But good info on the 07 light coming on together with using the hi switch.

emailed the site and got a good price. plan on taking my swing arm off at the end of november. is it hard to remove. and concerns i should have??

Have heard that the bearings/seals have to be replaced. I'm guessing cuz of the heat used for powder coating. Other than that, i don't think its a big deal. Got a stand/lift or some way of supporting it while the arm is gone ?

Easy. Just put to jack stands undet the foot pegs. If you have stock pegs, place under the part that doesn't fold....

And the bearings are easy to remove, but you gotta press them back in... About 100 bucks 2 pilot, 1 roller, and 2 seals. It was a funny project. But while your bike is down you might want to get the wheels and other various parts done too.

Don't forget that you have to remove the chain, and your gonna need a new master link...

i think i may do this to my bike. my girls dad powder coats. so this sould be a cool winter job.

If you have a garage. Just suspend the bike from the sub frame. Tie rope around support beams of the garage and then around your sub frame. Little red neck engineering but it works.

Still debating if I want to do mine.
