SATO FRAME SLIDERS

Has anybody ever installed these? I can't find to much info on them. Good? Bad?

I've got a set on my bike (pics in gallery), but they were installed by the previous owner. They look good, but do require cutting a hole in the fairing

You can do a searh in the Gallery for 'rumblefish'...there's only 2 pics of my 1K...here's one
