push button or quick shifter for '08 cbr1k?
Im looking to upgrade my bike with all the normal goodies (ecu, tre, pipe, k&n filter and some kind of shifting assistance). My question is, which system is better for mainly street use? Some back road twisties also. A push button shift, or a shift lever assisted unit? the more responses about this, the better choice I can make. All suggestions will be appreciated greatly! Thanks.

I recently saw this elsewhere when someone else was asking about quick shift options for their 1000RR.
You can go this route:
Annitori RL Quickshifter Gen 2. - Annitori RL Lite Quickshifter
or you can go this route:
Translogic Quickshifter - Translogic Quickshifter
The Translogic will be better on the transmission over the long haul, but its much more $$$ over the RL. if you have an 04-07, the Annitori will be fine since they have cassette transmissions. If you have an 08+ go with the Translogic.
