plain is the idea
i dont go for the stickerd up /multi bright color combinations.
the swingarm is the only mod i have done for appearance only. everything else has been performanced based even down to only carbon fiber pieces that actually protect something
my goal is to get rid of every piece of silver and only have black and ohlins gold ( need to send my forks back to dan kyle to get them powdercoated, they are already ohlins internals)

since i did all the labor myself it cost 75 bucks for the powdercoating
and i did have the dealer press the bearings back in for 30 bucks

yea my 600rr had a shiny black swing arm. ima look into the forks but not really caring to take it apart. hey braxsom how long does it take to take the forks off? how much work is involved? I would love to murder out the whole bike but still alot of work. All the fairing bolts, hex bolts the forks. just got that sprocket before they came out with the black ones form vortex so dont kno if ill change it anytime soon.

if you have the pitbull stand that lifts the bike from the triple clamp

i can get mine off in about 10 minutes

front wheel off
loosen all of the pinch bolts for the clip ons and then the 4 that hold the upper and lower triples
and the forks fall right out

since you gotta heat the powder coat up you think you have to take em apart to get them painted or can they just do it whole. I just dont want my bike apart for a long time. of course I go tdy bout every two weeks so I can drop em off before I leave and pick em up whn I get back.
