i have read the post on lowering the front of an 06 butto my understanding you cant just drop the forks because the fork tubes are larger under the clamp. it doesnt look that way to me but the local shop here in cleveland says they are. has anyone done this and if so how difficult? please help! do i have to buy an aftermarket triple clamp? is there an aftermarket clamp? any help thanks

 

Never lowered a bike but I have removed my fork, and its the same size to me also. I think you can just dfo it like the rest of the years. Try it, if it doesn't work that put them back to OG specs.
