Will the pc3 for the 2006 cbr 1000 fit the 05 model and what is the differance???

Part #'s are diff. 06/07 125-411

04/05 121-411

 

Will most likely be different plugs and such.

The pins inside the plugs could be different... the brain is the same, so there has to be something different with the wiring. Could be length.

 

Does anybody know for sure not guessing?

 

not sure about the PCIII, but as far as the bikes go the 06/07 was tweaked motorwise from the 04/05with a higher redline, higher compression ratio among other things if i remeber right.....have you compared the other end of the PCIII harness to see if the injector plugsfit?

id sleep better knowing i had the correct part-number that went with my bike installed in it...

 

I just found out from Dynojet rep that the pc3for a 1000rr will fit any year both part numbers will work on either bike you just have to load a new map for the correct year bike bc the maps are slightly differant. He didnt see a prob if you didnt, just advised doing it.
