PC III Accelerator Pump
I understand there's a free download for the accelerator pump mod for PC III usb users..My questions are, what good does it make and what is the best settings?? ie; sensitivity level..percentage level..and rpm level...
Powercommander recommends 90% sensitivity..15% fuel..10 rpm for street..
What is the best for track settings?? Oh wise ones..pls help!! hehe..

I'm using the accelerator pump on my bike. It is great for track but I hardly notice it when riding on the road. Most noticable out of slow corners, great for power wheelies in 2nd. Currently I've set mine up at 80% sens, 30% fuel and 20 rpm but I play with it from track to track

I thought the 1000RR has some form of accelerator pump in the EFI. As I was advised not to install it.

Installed mine after custom map was done. See http://www.powercommander.com/maps/i...t_ap_parts.pdf for details on how it works and how to set it up.

I`m with fisherman on this, I turned it on and on the road it just wasted fuel for me. On track it makes alot more use, when you want a little extra push from the combustion. But even then I don`t use it on track tbh, only once and it wasn`t a significant enough increase for the fuel used.

Anubis is right about it guzzling gas! Fortunately our fuel is still relatively cheap in comparison to the actual cost of bikes. We get ripped off on the bikes for example my 06 CBR 1000 RR cost me R110 000 which is about $17 000 US and GBP 9200. I pay R6.50 for a litre of 95 unleaded which is about $1 per litre and 1/2 a GB pound per litre.
