Default New bike, judging current mods!

New 2007 CBR1000 here, and i'm accessing the mods that have been done. Some seem great,

Flush front signals,
Eliminated rear fender
Some kinda signal integrated tail light?
Shortie levers
smoked fairing shield

Which brings us to the curious exhaust mod! The factory can was removed (I have it) and one of those after market chrome dual exhaust extensions ( think pep boys), was modified to mount to the existing header! It mounts below the tail like stock.

Any thoughts on this? It looks ok, but I was told by someone that a re programmer is needed when changing the exhaust? The seller didn't mention a juice box or other. Where would I look? Is one needed?

Should I attempt the remount the factory exhaust?
Should I replace immediately with an after market?

I'm not looking for ANY more power, and as far as sound, I don't like a hot rod sound, just that traditional super bike Indy car sound.

Is that a flying dragon on your bike?

looks like a muffler tip type of thing for a car, if the stock headers are still there (like right out of the engine, they wont look fancy) you dont really need anything to run a slip on.

i would invest in some new rubber and a fluid change for personal records.

change the exhaust if you dont like the look/sound

Thumbs up

i honestly like that look, looks clean, and not overdone, as far as performance goes, ive read on a few diff exhaust sites, ex. hyper-flo's, that you can gain hp without remapping, they claim 3 hp gains on a 600rr without any remapping. To get the optimum performance you may want to, but i dont think its necessary unless you want more power..cutting the weight of the stock exhaust helps too.
