From my research on lowering bikes...it will affect the handling of the bike, but it depends how you ride. if you like cruising around townyou should not have a problem. If you are doing track days or really laying the bike on the side then you willrun in to clearance issue. Now that being said irecently attendedasport bike class that themilitaryis making everyone take and they teach you how to drag aknee, dodecreasing circlesand 90degree turns.There were a few people in the class with lowered bikes alot of them didnt have clearance issues going through the turns some said they would have done better through the course if the bike was stock height.
