Lowering Link Help
Hello I am looking for lowering links for my 2007 CBR1000RR. I would like to find lowering link that can lower the rear about2 inches. Everywhere I look I am being told that the link only lower the bike 1" or 3 ". Please can someone help me out and let me know if there are any links that I can purchase that can lower the bike by 2" in the rear. Thank you for your assistances in this matter.

RE: Lowering Link Help
Check out http://www.1stgearcycles.net/you won't see them on his site but give him a call he will be there between 12-4 saterday. If it is out there he can find it. This where I take my own bike to be worked on. And he is one of the ones who has done a lot of the mods to my bike.

RE: Lowering Link Help
if it does not work for you her the main post
Well i ordered a set of lowering links from brad and unfortunately they either lower the bike 1 inch or 3 inches on the 06 model.. which 1inch isnt much and 3 inches is pretty drastic for street riding on a 1000rr.. so i spoke with diamond powersports the company that makes them and i found out that if you put on a set of 600rr links on the 1000rr it will lower the bike about 2inches..
I got a set for 2.99 on ebay.. what a steal.. threw them on the bike in about 10 minutes and it lowers the rear of the bike just perfect to sit level with front if you lowered the front 1 inch.. so i dropped the triple tree 1 inch and the rear 2 inches approx.. and the bike sits perfect!!
so for any of you guys who like to drag race etc.. this is a good cheap mod that will save you a few bucks.. good luck..
