Default Loudest exhaust?

I know choosing an aftermarket exhaust always comes down to one's personal opinion and taste - as for me, I love loud engines/exhaust notes. What is (are) the loudest exhaust (exhausts) for my bike? I am looking to change the whole system and make my bike sound real loud/mean. Thanks.

hey man, look into the two brothers exhaust. In most circumstances these pipes sound really nice and have a controlled sound level until you really open it up. HOWEVER- on the 08-09 1000rr, since the exhaust is set up in a moto-gp style, the two bros exhaust cans for these bikes are extremely short/stubby. This allows very little room for the can to actually quiet the exhaust. My point is, the two bros can on your bike is LOUD as hell. Even right off idle it has a sweet, loud tone. And when you open it up...... it sounds bada$$ and extremely loud.

2bros on my 08 and it is loud as all hell, but it sounds great. I wear ear plugs with mine. you don't get your hearing back once it's gone.

somebody else may be able to give you a better opinion on that since I have not yet heard a yoshimura on a 08. Generally speaking though, the two bros usually screams a hell of a lot louder (and more obnoxious) than yoshis. get two bros, youll love it.

I knew sooner or later someone would say something about loud pipes beng annoying.... Quit your belly achin, Let the people who want loud exhausts to have them. i like them... I could care less if i'm riding next to a guy witha loud pipe, i have earplugs in all the time anyways... and if you dont have earplugs.... turn onto a different road or quit following so close!

Do you take your bike to the track alot? or ride typically around 8-10rpm? full system is pointless and a waste of money IMO for street ridin.... Puts any usable power higher up in the R's.... Slip on is the best bang for your buck.... But i dont know your situation. I'm assuming your just a street rider seeing that its a 09 repsol. no one wants to take that baby to the track to wreck her.

Yeah predominately street riding, very little or no track usage. Oh well, I'm still looking forward to the installation (I heard an '09 Repsol with the same set-up and absolutely loved it).
