Just did the dyno today!
My only mods so far are Yoshi slip on, k&n and flapper mod. I always put 94 octane as well(now im wondering if I should keep on doing it). The bike made 137.7whp and 70.8 wtq(SAE corrected). Now isnt that a bit low considering most guys make over 150whp stock?
The wheather wasnt perfect but still! It also runs very lean from about 6200rpms to 9400rpms, we are talking around 11.4-11.6. I will post the dyno page later. The bike has over 1000 miles up to date and seems to be running smooth. I went back to the dealer where I bought the bike from and they did recommend to get the power commander which I just ordered and should be in within a week or so. Once installed and mapped I will do another dyno and see what happens. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Thomas |

Sounds like you were on an EC dyno which some debate provides "more accurate' numbers. Whatever.
Sounds low if you were on a Dyno250, especially with a slip-on and free-er flowing filters. Those are usually good for at least 2-3hp up from an average 145rwhp on the 04-05's. Power Commander will clean up your curve and add a couple more. |

Lots of Variables. I think you have to use the same dyno when you measure power #s of the same machines. Also after only a 1k miles it's still a virgin. The bike depending how you break it in, after about 10K miles will make it's full power on a stock machine. Oil, fuel, air temp, air humidity, elevation, and the way you strap it down to the roller can all effect dyno power #s. Don't feel cheated just put more miles on the bike.

Just so you know, you are giving up HP on the dyno with that 94 octane fuel.
Use 91 as recommended by Honda. Run 89 on the dyno for a few more HP. Lube / adjust your chain Put 42psi in the rear tire Full synthetic oil is good for 1.5 - 2.0 HP Break-in a bit more, that should be another 2-3hp Power Commander only help if the dyno guys know what they are doing. Make sure they clamp off the PAIR system, or you're A/F ratio will look alot leaner then it really is. You should be able to hit 140 on a good day, with an "avg" calibrated dyno. FYI: The K&N's could be costing you a few HP as well... maybe try the stock ones next time? |

Thanks for the advice 1000RR!! The 94 octane costing me power does make sense since I remember even on the 6gen accords(not 7th, they actually gained a few ponies) the 94 octane took away some power and 89 was actually way better.

A buddy of mine had a 10:1 a/f once with his 900rr. That thing use to throw a little suet out the pipe every now and again.

At some points on the graph it actually dipped under 11. Hopefully it will be fixed with the pc I just got installed.
