Default help with leo vinci exhaust.

Put the pipe on the bike & it is too quite. Leo tech support is closed. Has anyone removed the evoII silencer? Pipe is a sbk with a carbon jacket.

yep the silencer is easy
there is a rubber plug in the can at the bottom right at the discharge.
pull the plug then you will see the screw to take the silencer out.

at least that is how the silencer came out of mine for my 600RR

The leos on my Aprilia had a one way bolt. You had to take them out with a pair of pliers.

Thanks guys. The silencer was in really tight. I wanted to make sure I didn't doanything stupid first.I ended up making aslide hammer with a piece of all thread to get it out.But it's out & sounding much better. I'm wondering if I cheesed it on the install though
I disconnected the cables off the exhaust valve but I left the wiring connected. Is this going tocause the ecu to think the vavle is working & give the wrong air fuel mix?

Does anyone know howtounhook the cables on the 07 , it is somewhere under the battery.. or just secure them at the valve side somewhere?

the servo is beside the trunk release near the battery
hex head bolts under the seat to get it out of the bike
just trace the cables to where it goes under the undertail. then right above that in the battery box is the servo

here is a pic of my 600RR with the leo vince and the silencer. the bolt sticking up into the pipe from the bottom is the one that holds the silencer in

Thanks baxsom. do you also have to disconnect the battery and remove it to get to it?
