Default CBR 1k seat comfort

Another new guy here, I just took a 300 mile trip on my 06 1k and after about 150 or so miles my cheeks were screaming. Does anyone know of a good replacement seat or where you would go to have your orignal seat padded up.

Buy a 2004-2005 seat, ride on it for 150 miles, your 2006 seat will feel great in comparison.

>I hear you there!
I have a Corbin for my 2004 CBR 1000RR and it is a really comfortable seat. I am not tall at all 5'6" and lowered my bike 1.5"(Lowering link), but installed the Corbin seat which is thicker than stock 3".
The seat feels nice, but WoW!!! now I'm on my tippy toes. [sm=wtf.gif]
