They remind me of my first bicycle I ever had.Its funny because I remember my father taking them off.I wonder if he was trying to get rid of me.Any way the bike looked much better without them.

Remove them. I used relective tape that is the same color of the bike (blue in my case)

I know this is a little off topic, but someone mentioned relective tape.

I was wondering what you guys though about rim tape on an 06 siliver 1K? I was thinking a dark shade of red to match the CBR logo but not relective. And yes I also removed my reflectorsandbrackets soon after I got her home. I did notice that fronts brackets supported the rubber gromets on the fender, so I didn't wrench'em down all the way.

-Clear Alternative Integrated Tail
-Front Flush Mounts

I think the rim tape looks nice. Its pretty cheap and easy, so give it a try n see what you think. Easy to peel off if you don't care for it. I would also suggest you just go buy some regular tape instead of the pre-formed stuff. I think they're getting like $25 for $2 worth of tape, just because its pre-formed round. Getting it round on the bike isn't all that hard if you take your time. You do get the logo w/the formed stuff, but I wouldn't pay 10x what its really worth just for the logo.
