1000RR Rear fender removal
Removal of the rear section is pretty straight forward. My only word of caution is when you actually take the tail section off. You have to spread the sides of the tail section apart REALLY far to get it off the sub-frame. It will almost seem like the plastic is going to snap, but it will come off. Just try to pull one side at a time if you can. This was the only difficult part.
The instructions listed above work. It's how I did mine today (I bought the bike yesterday). I don't have a fender eliminator kit yet seeing as how I don't even have a license plate yet but you can take off the big fender part with the license plate light and bolt it all back up with just the turn signals bolted to the little side plastic things for now. I'm going to bend up some thin aluminum and bolt it to where the turn signals bolt to when my license plate arrives, should cost about $1 to do it this way and you get the same results, just not license plate light.
