Personally I dont give a **** if guy next time has a faster bike. Don't mean ****. In real world, it's all about the rider. I'll keep it short, but I remember one time at the last light before the twisties, I was waitin for green on my F3, not really planning on riding hard. Guy rolls up next to me on an R1. Looks over at me and I wave and say what's up. He looks at my 600, and just does one of the pfft things, and kinda shakes his head at me. Light turned green, and he took off like a rocket. I said f it, and made chase. I caught him by end of 1st corner, passed him on the OUTSIDE on the 2nd, and by the 4th I couldnt see him in my rear view anymore. Twisties are a couple miles long then it merges onto freeway. I keep riding at a decent pace, but not hard anymore, feeling I made my point. After being on freeway for a few miles, I see a bike coming up quick, I scoot over to let him by, and lo and behold it was the R1, apparantly able to kick *** on a total straight away. lol. Anyways, will forever remember that day.

youre right chainstretcher, but for some reason, im so very interested on knowing the similarities and differences that each bike has like handling, power, looks, sound, etc... but no, im not gonna race some "guy" thru curves on an unpredictable hwy cuz i dont want to suffer the consequences.

I hear what your saying, but with all my mods seems like the stock 10r keeps up real well but i look are the differences i weight 280 opponent prolly 215 prolly just aerodyamics. it seems like the honda takes off like a grape ape and then runs outta breath ??
With the information you have given. the 65 lb weight difference is quite a bit. basically, if you and your friend are on the exact same bike, weighing a guessed 400lbs, youwould be4.25lbs per hp. Your friend is only 3.8 lbs per hp. So, your bike would have to have 15 hp more than his to be on the same level. 15 hp is quite a big number when we're only talking about 400lb machines.
