Default 06 CBR1000RR Slipon Recomendations

Folks ... I have a CBR1000RR 06 Black. I have the Intake Flapper Mod and will be performing the PAIR mod. I have also wrapped the pipes to reduce heat.

My question is ... Which SlipOn (not full system) is best for this bike. I will also purchase a BMC filter ( K&N is to restrictive) and Power Commander. I will have a local shop do the DYNO and Mapping.

So could folks feed back with Vendor, HP, and Sound.

Thank You very much .... I will post this up to a couple of other Forumns then share results.

Brian

If you want power

Arata, Sato, Akro,

they are not cheap but they will make good power

you can find a write up on the power an arata can made compared to a jardine can at

this site also has sound clips

Great Site .... seems like the Sato was the best sounding. I will look for some Dyno Runs and compare.

satos do sound awesome

i ended up going with the arata because of the awesome deal that kneedraggers was having on them

power increase is pretty close to the same with either both have shown +10 on the dyno

I have the Jardine RT-1 w/ Race core. Sound is very nice. Deep and throaty. Price was awesome. I picked mine up at starcycle.com for only 200 bucks. Cannot beat that. Plus free delivery.

Devil Exhaust is nice. You stand out from the group.

for the most power go with arata or sato.

for a pipe that fills the backend up look at the arata, akra, jardine dual outlet, or the yosh rs-5.
