Default 06 Cbr 1000rr

I just picked up a 1000rr . I have a 954 with the shift pattern reversed. I was wondering if there is a way of reversing the pattern on the 1000? Let me know. Thanks. Lee.

What is the pattern on the 954? 1- down 5-up?

You can get a GP shift kit that will reverse the pattern. Stock is 1-down 5-up, GP is 1-up 5-down.

* I dont own one. So My info might be off*

No way to just flip the shift arm to make it reverse on the 1000rr you have to buy the GP shifter, i got a Gillies Gp Shifter from Brad at Super Bike Supply and it bolts right on with the stock shift linkage and it rocks!

Yup. Just buy the GP shift kit and be done with it.

I'm looking for contact information now. I'm working on a pre-purchase inspection on a 2006 10000RR and I can't do standard shift, too much to think about. I need to switch it to GP ASAP.

Last I heard Brad from SuperBike Supply either sold it or shut it down. 1000rr.net might help.

Thanks. I bought the 1000RR. It needs a little TLC, then it's upgrade time!

No Jaybird180, I didnt ask you if you checked it out, I meant check out the web site "1000RR.net" Its completely dedicated to CBR1000RR's. All years. That should help you find a solution to your GP shifting you want. I believe you need aftermarket rearsets or some kind of different linkage. You cant just flip the linkage like I did on my 08 1k because the hydraulic clutch thing is in your way.
