Default 04 cbr1000rr

04 cbr1000rr make 142.5 rwhp
would like to get 180 +
whats it guna take?
I was told that turbo could make upto 240 but the rods will not hold
have: aftermarket pipe, pc, k&n

A dry shot of nitrous will do it! Turbos are reliable but with the Hondas, for some reason, there isnt much of a market for those type mods (turbos, nitrous, etc)

I agree, nitrous is going to be your easiest bet for more hp. But Im not sure at what cost. After time, I'm sure it will wear harder on the engine. but then again, just about any mod to increase performance comes at a price.

An all motor mod to get an extra 40 hp is going to take a lot of money. You'll be looking at new cams, higher compression, intake mods, injector mods, full exhaust, and potentially only being able to run race gas.

Keep in mind the bikes that race in world superbike are making around 200 hp, so you can imagine the cost that could be involved, not to mention making in reliable. They dump a ton of money in their engines and have a complete tear down and inspection between race weekends.
