ok so i just bought this bike and the vacuum lines look all messed up and all over the place so i am trying to replace and reorganize them so the bike will run right and im curious if anyone has either pics of the way it should look or a detailed diagram of it... thank you and i look forward to hearing from you...

Hi scotty - Here is a start..

1. Download workshop manual from below.
2. Which vacuum tubes you referring to? Petlock picture attached...
3. Attached photo shows..
   YELLOW - tank fuel gauge cable cover sheath.
   GREEN - Pet lock vacuum hose..
4. Note if you have "Californian" model it has a lot of other "plumbing" - do search this group for that model.

NOTE - 3 completely different configurations

1. Pre 1990
2. 1990 to 1993
3. 1993 0nwards.

Plus the Californian environmental config as an addition.

 

ok is there a vacuum diagram for the california model cbr's??? i just got everything off after the bike deciced to quit working on me and i noticed i have tubes running to the ports where you performed your carb syncing.... those 4 tubes then run to 1 large tube that runs under the nose fairing... then also i noticed on the bottom of cylinder 3 (3rd from left that is) there is a brass nipple that was not connected to anything... i would love to get this figured out and as soon as my camera battery is charged i will be taking pics for reference... thanks...

 

ok here is a couple pics of the brass nipple that is on the third cylinder that i need to know if it is a vacuum line or somthing else or if i can just cap it off... please let me know asap if you know the answer thanks...
