Ok dinez you can have it man! To the guy with the 900 it will take a lil $ but you can definatley hangwith that 929 38.5 flatside carbs and a -1 +2 520 sprocket conversion he's only pushing 135 hp on that 929 only 10 more than you hell with it put a bottle on and smoke his ***!!

first off...jet kit for the 900rr is not hard to install yourself if you got basic mechanical know how

secondly....there is no replacement for displacement....bigger motor, more power naturally

thirdly...ill roast a 929 down the 1/4 mile ONLY cause I have an 8in stretch and I can make full use of the sprocket and full throttle without having to baby it off the line...any more than the 1/4 forget it...the 929 has more top end power due to the F.I. where the 900 seems to lose the air resistance/horsepower battle the 929 will come out on top...

lastly....im a 900 owner and I've ridden many bikes from 77 GS1000s to 08 ZX-10s and the 900 is definitely in a class of its own...its a fun bike and a comfortable one at that...im 6'3 225...it will pretty much spank or hang with the older big bore bikes before it and can hang with the newer ones as well but is quickly being outpowered and undercut in weight...the new 600s are allmost at the same hp numbers and weigh significantly less than the 9...but the 9 will allways get them with the torque...bigger displacement

Sounds like somebody is scared because his $50 is as good as mine! lol!
This was to the original poster (who I ride with) not to anybody else. But I'm glad everybody chimed in...[sm=groupwave.gif]

Sounds like both bikes are closely matched. We'll let you know the results after we run 'em.
