929/954 mirrors on F4i plus exhaust questions
I have the same pipe as you, How hard was it to cut the carbon?
sounds like ill be buying a two bros and surffing
the almighty EBAY for some carbon 954
mirrors w/integrated signals (<---For safety...well thats what i told the g/f at least
The easiest way to do it is find the length you would like, tape around the pipe on each side(so it doesn't splinter), and find someone w/ a hand held grinder like a metabo use a cut off wheel right down the center of the line.... The CF is very easy w/ the cut off wheel. Hack saw would be very difficult to keep clean and would def cause some fraying.....but for $20-30 you can get a grinder and cut off wheels at harbor freight. dont forgot outside shell, packing then inside is another tube. wish i woulda taken pics...
... but for real my favorite part is you can remove the rear peg w/ exhaust mount, ill put a pic up soon.... the springs are strong enough to hold the muffler being that short... just make sure your mid pipe clamp is cranked onto the headers
my sexy after surgery
