Default F4i to F4 rear subframe tail section?

I am contemplating swapping out the tailsection on my '99 CBR 600 F4 and installing the subframe and tailsectiion off of an F4i. I am pretty sure they swap out but not 100% sure. Does anyone know for sure if the subframes will swap or not?

Follow this link and it will show you everything you need and need to do. I did it when I had my 00 F4 and it made the bike look great.

***answering again here too, in case one of your threads is deleted.***

That link alone will not guide you thru the entire process. Like many shop manuals, it leaves gaps in the process that leave you to formulate your own solutions.

That link is a good resource for a split seat subframe swap, & it helps greatly, but it doesn't show all steps. Too, that tutorial is for an F4i to F4i swap...not an F4 to F4i swap. There are differences. In my tutorial, I've tried to clarify some of those gaps & differences.

If you need any help at all, please feel free to contact me & I'll do my best to walk you thru it.

Good luck.

R/R and fuel pump are the main differences. Key thing IMO is getting all the right parts and bolts needed. I too can help ya if you need it
