So I bought a super lightly used suit that from the look of it was either never worn and only worn for less then a hand full of times at the track. Now the sizing seemed perfect based on the fit of a Size 44/54 suit I tried on that the bottom half fit ok just very snug but the top half was not going to zip up. This suit that I bought is 46/56 and it fits pretty good everywhere but the mid section is very tight. It doesn't hurt or anything but I just wanted to know if this was normal. I see some people putting on suits and they seem to be pretty loose in the mid section and not tight like my suit. I also find it a little hard to stand up perfectly straight. but I see that seems to be normal with most suits.

If it's all leather I'm told it's supposed to be a bit tight at first. The easiest place to get it fit perfect in the middle section is the fridge

Jezus I freaked out when I suddenly noticed you'r not alone in the last pic! That your daughter?

The suit is supposed to fit you in a riding position, can you move around well on the bike?

on the bike Im in a position that feels natural. no pains or bad comfort. Just when trying to stand up straight.

Yup, Geoff Duke was the first guy to have a suit made for him positioned on the bike as opposed to walking around.... He said the older suits felt like trash bags on the bike at speed comparatively. Less drag made him a faster rider, and it kept the wind from knocking him around, so he had more control of the bike.

You can look at riders on TV walking around the paddock and see how their arms are bent and backs slightly hunched over. Its all from the suit.

But make sure you're comfy while riding. That's whats safe.
